In today’s digital-first world, finding the right talent for your company can be a time-consuming and complex process. Kolverr, specializing in the training of workers for roles in the energy transition sector, aimed to simplify this challenge. By creating an intuitive platform, Kolverr seamlessly connects job seekers and recruiters, particularly in fields that are crucial to building a more sustainable future. The challenge was to design a product that catered both to users searching for employment in the energy transition industry and companies in need of skilled talent to meet eco-friendly goals in a resource-limited world.

We began by conducting a detailed benchmarking analysis of leading platforms in recruitment, including Hupso, Udemy, Openclassrooms, and Atelier des chefs. Our goal was to understand the core pain points from both the job seekers’ and recruiters’ perspectives. The insights from this research helped us design a more streamlined, user-friendly experience for both ends of the hiring process.

Once we had a clear understanding of the market needs, we moved forward with user interviews. We spoke to recruiters, HR managers, and job seekers to understand their frustrations and preferences. This gave us valuable feedback for the user journey. From there, we developed wireframes that addressed issues like complex hiring workflows and unclear application tracking.

The first part of the project focused on job seekers. We designed a mobile app that allows users to quickly search for jobs, track applications, and get personalized recommendations. Using clean, modern UI, we created a fluid experience for users to set up profiles, upload resumes, and apply for positions in just a few taps.

On the recruiter side, we focused on creating a powerful dashboard that would simplify the hiring process. The interface allowed HR teams to post jobs, review applications, and track candidate progress all in one place. Special care was taken to implement advanced filtering options, ensuring recruiters could quickly identify the best candidates for their needs.

Recognizing the importance of upskilling, we also built an integrated online training platform within the app. Users could access industry-specific courses to improve their chances of being hired, as well as soft-skill workshops tailored for career growth. This feature further differentiated Kolverr from competitors by empowering job seekers to not only apply for jobs but also enhance their qualifications on the same platform.

By combining user-friendly design with powerful backend systems, Kolverr is positioning itself as a leading recruitment platform, streamlining the hiring process for both job seekers and recruiters. The project received positive feedback from users, increasing the platform’s engagement and overall satisfaction.
