ClikOdoc

ClikOdoc is an online platform that allows patients to easily book appointments with healthcare professionals, while providing practitioners with a simple tool to manage their schedules and consultations. It streamlines the connection between patients and doctors, improving organization and making access to care more seamless.

Healthcare today is increasingly digital, but many solutions still feel fragmented: patients face complicated booking systems, while practitioners juggle tools that slow them down instead of helping. ClikOdoc wanted to bridge that gap by building a single, coherent platform where patients can easily access care, and practitioners can manage their practice with clarity and confidence. Moreover, in the overseas territories, booking an appointment can be especially challenging, as some islands sometimes have only a single specialist available for the entire population.

My role was to lead the redesign of the entire product ecosystem: patient and practitioner interfaces (both mobile and desktop), a new design system, a refreshed brand identity, and the company website. Each layer of the project had to reinforce trust, simplicity, and consistency.

I began the project with a Discovery phase, starting with a detailed benchmark of competing healthcare platforms to understand market standards and identify differentiation opportunities. I then created a story mapping exercise to structure user journeys and prioritize features, addressing both patient and practitioner needs coherently

For patients, the redesign transformed their experience into something faster and more intuitive. Scheduling an appointment became a matter of just a few taps, with clearer time slots and simplified rescheduling when plans change. The interface was built to reduce friction, improve accessibility, and add a layer of personalization, making patients feel more in control of their healthcare journey.

For practitioners, the focus was on efficiency and clarity. The new dashboard reduced administrative burdens by centralizing tasks like managing appointments, tracking cancellations, and communicating with patients. It provided a clear daily overview of their practice, freeing up valuable time so they could concentrate more on care and less on paperwork.

To ensure long-term scalability, I designed a flexible design system based on Material Design from Google (technical constraint), allowing ClikOdoc to evolve quickly while keeping visual and functional coherence. In parallel, I redesigned the website and homepage to clearly communicate ClikOdoc’s mission.

The result was not just a visual refresh but a more connected experience across all touchpoints. Patients now benefit from a straightforward and reassuring booking journey, while practitioners have tools that truly support their workflow. ClikOdoc emerges as a stronger, unified platform, simplifying healthcare interactions and supporting both patients and practitioners — and it recently secured $1M in funding to continue its growth.
